Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO) invites registered electrical contractors (Category “B” according to the classification of the Ministry of Public Works and transport) for “Refabrication of BEDCO High Mast Lighting at BEDCO Sebaboleng, Maseru”.

The tender documents will be available from Monday 3rd February 2025 for a non-refundable fee of M1,000.00 payable at BEDCO Finance Office, BEDCO, Sebaboleng, Maseru. Only companies whose principals were born in Lesotho are eligible to submit bids. Documents shall be obtained from BEDCO Procurement Office by producing a copy of receipt obtained from BEDCO Finance Office or Payment of tender document can also be made by EFT (electronic funds transfer) to BEDCO bank account which can be requested by emailing: k.maluke@bedco.org.ls and proof of payment emailed to: k.maluke@bedco.org.ls to get the tender document.

A compulsory site visit will be on the 13th February 2025 at BEDCO Sebaboleng at 09:00hrs. Tenderers must assemble at BEDCO Procurement Office at BEDCO Sebaboleng Maseru prior to the site visit time of 09:00hrs on the 13th February 2025.

Tenders should be returned on or before 12H00 on Friday 28th February 2025 and should be deposited in the tender box situated at BEDCO Head Office reception Area Sebaboleng, Maseru. Tenders will be opened on the same day of Friday 28th February 2025 at 1200hrs in the BEDCO Conference Hall at Sebaboleng, Maseru in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend. Late tenders will not be accepted. Certified valid copies of tax clearance certificate, ID certificate(s) or passport(s) of directors, contractor registration certificate and trader’s licence must be attached to the bid. A refundable bid security of M10, 000.00 (Ten Thousand Maloti Only) from a commercial bank must be attached to the bid.

BEDCO undertakes not to accept the lowest or any bid and will not assign a reason for its decision.
